Trenton Donauschwaben Association AutoKlub History
In early 2003, a group of Club members formed an auto club. The members have participated in a number of car shows since then and have won many individual trophies. The AutoKlub itself has won consecutive 4' trophies and cash prizes at the August 2003 and the August 2004 Cannstatter Auto Show in Philadelphia (for the most car club member entries). Our members own a variety of autos: Porsches, VW beetles (classic, new & modified), VW Passats, BMWs, Mercedes, Audis, Corvettes, an Olds Alero, a dune buggy, a classic Plymouth, motorcycles and several other imports.
Trenton Donauschwaben Tranzgruppe Dancers
Traditional dance has long been an activity of the Trenton Donauschwaben. There is a dance group within the club, which has been active for many years. In 2001 several of our young dancers (youth & adults) joined the Philadelphia Donauschwaben's dance group, our sister club, and perform at special events throughout the year including the North American Donauschwabentreffen each year since. They dance throughout the year at various events in the Delaware Valley including at the Phillies game Citizen's Bank Park. For more information about the dance group contact a Club Officer.
